FM1563 - Environmental Consultant - £29 - £30,000 – Guildford

The role of Senior Geo-Environmental Scientist/Consultant will require the person to be part of a team delivering environmental projects undertaken in the Guildford Office, and elsewhere in the business, and this will involve writing Phase I and Phase II contaminated land site investigation reports, supervising Phase II investigations including logging, sampling and specifying testing regimes, human health and controlled waters risk assessments, development of remediation strategies, involvement in IPPC applications or landfill closure audits and planning advice to Local Authorities and developers.
In this senior role, you would be expected to liase with Clients and sub-contractors, organise and write the briefs for other Technical disciplines that may be required to contribute to projects from our National team including hydrogeology, waste, application of the PART IIA regime, risk assessment, remediation, environmental impact, ecology etc. as necessary. You would report to a Principal Consultant but would be fully responsible for the timely completion of project deliverables under your control and to monitor the financial performance of the project.
