FM1653 - Graduate Operations and Maintenance Engineer – Guildford - £19 - £20,000

  • Our client is a major construction and engineering cunsultancy operating within the UK and Internationally They are currently seeking a Graduate Operations and Maintenance Engineer Reporting to a Senior or Principal Engineer, the Graduate Operations and Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the investigation and design of a portfolio of maintenance and improvement schemes.

  • The primary duties of the Graduate Engineer include, but are not limited to: § Preparing designs and options for schemes under the guidance and direction of the Principal Engineer / Senior Engineer. § Production of AutoCAD drawings, calculations and other construction data; § Ensure that all CAD production is in accordance with the latest Hyder standard working practices. § Assist the Principal Engineer/ Senior Engineer to ensure projects are delivered on time, to required quality and to budget; § Fully complying with quality, safety and environmental management regulations

2508 - Internal Applications Engineer (air-conditioning) – Hertfordshire - to £40k

  • Our client help customers across the world create better working and living environments through the effective use of high performance air conditioning systems.

  • They undertake every aspect of system design, development, manufacture, installation, commissioning and continuing support. They also provide expert consultancy on climate control.

  • Due to further expansion they are currently looking to recruit an Internal Applications Engineer to work out of their offices in Hemel Hempstead and be responsible for the selection and procurement of plant and associated equipment in line with customer requirements. Experience in a similar role or experience of air-conditioning/ventilation systems is essential although training and career progression will be offered to the right individual.

2771 – Sales Engineer – Air-conditioning (Building Services) – London and South East region – c£35k + car + commission (OTE £50K) + benefits

2797 - Contracts Engineer - Air Conditioning – Hertfordshire - c£30-35k + company car, pension, life insurance and team bonus scheme.

  • UK leaders in the Close Control AC market who also have a significant market share in the Comfort AC markets with some HVAC works associated too. They will soon be bringing AHU sales into their portfolio as well. All of which requires additional experienced HVAC contract (project) engineers to work in Greater London and Home Counties to manage the installations and also the larger ‘supply only’ contracts.

  • The applicant will be responsible for taking a project from order stage, with values ranging from just a few thousand pounds, through to £1m, from their sales team and managing the project thereafter, including matters such as H&S, risk assessments, method statements, procurement, programming and full financial control of the contract. Their contract engineers are expected to manage just one or two larger more complicated jobs, or up to around 12 smaller projects at any one time.

The applicant should have a thorough knowledge and understanding of both DX and chilled water applications in respect of CCAC systems.

  • The successful applicant will also have a good knowledge of BMS systems and controls but only needed in relation to their equipment. 2714 - Assistant Maintenance Manager – Central London – c£40k + benefits

  • Part of a 12 man resident team providing M&E planned and reactive maintenance services. Reporting directly to the on-site Maintenance Manager, the assistant manager will be responsible for managing the day to day planned maintenance and allocating resources to attend to client and tenant help desk calls. Management and motivation of the on-site engineers are key requirements of this post to ensure compliance, health & safety and client satisfaction. Will take responsibility for the planning, execution, quality, safety and paperwork of all specialist sub contractors performing planned maintenance and project works. Communication skills are essential at all levels and there must be a willingness to work occasional overtime.

  • Will liaise with the on-site administrator to manage the company's purchasing system. Commercial acumen would be an advantage and assistance and training will be given. Will deputise for the Maintenance Manager during periods of absence.

  • Candidates need to have sound all round M&E knowledge with a strong bias to electrical for both LV and HV systems. Working knowledge of BMS systems would be an advantage. Minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory or hands-on management role of similar contracts.

2713 - Customer Account Manager – East London – c£45k + benefits

  • Responsible for a number of M&E maintenance contracts in London (initially approx 6-8 with combined annual value of circa. £1 - £1.5 million), mixture of manned sites and foot mobile sites. Responsible for mobilisation, implementation, service delivery, safety, compliance, project works, customer satisfaction & liaison, development and full P&L accountability.

  • Candidates need to have experience in similar roles and clearly demonstrate M&E technical background and training.
