FM1535 - Senior Marine Engineer - £35,000 to £38,000 – Plymouth

• A pro-active and committed individual is required to join our clients busy Marine team in the Plymouth Office as a Senior Marine Engineer. Reporting to the Head of Marine Structures you will initially be responsible for managing small to medium sized commissions with significant potential to develop your project management skills through the use of multi- disciplinary teams.

• You will be a strong team player and team leader, but must be able to work on own iniatiative. You will be nearly or recently chartered engineer. Typical projects include design and supervision of dredging works, design of marine structures and production of feasibility studies. Your experience should cover a number of areas below ( note it is not anticipated that any candidates will possess all the experience below ) Capital and Maintenance Dredging Environmental Impact Assessments Port and Harbour design including jetties, mooring dolphins and fendering Scour protection structures Seawalls

• Breakwater and revetment design Outfalls Marina design Wave modelling Project Management Construction supervision Marine Consents and Licences Coastal Flood Risk Assessments Beach processes / sediment transport CEng MICE BEng(Hons) MEng
