2509 - Sales Engineer - air-conditioning systems – Kent/London - c£30-35k + bonus + car (ote £75-80k)

2508 - Internal Applications Engineer (air-conditioning) – Hertfordshire - to £40k

  • Our client help customers across the world create better working and living environments through the effective use of high performance air conditioning systems. They undertake every aspect of system design, development, manufacture, installation, commissioning and continuing support. They also provide expert consultancy on climate control.

  • Due to further expansion they are currently looking to recruit an Internal Applications Engineer to work out of their offices in Hemel Hempstead and be responsible for the selection and procurement of plant and associated equipment in line with customer requirements.

  • Experience in a similar role or experience of air-conditioning/ventilation systems is essential although training and career progression will be offered to the right individual.

2771 – Sales Engineer – Air-conditioning (Building Services) – London and South East region – c£35k + car + commission (OTE £50K) + benefits

  • This is an excellent opportunity to sell a bespoke new product within the UK. Our client helps customers across the World create better working, living and process environments through the effective use of high performance air conditioning systems.

  • They undertake every aspect of system design, development, manufacture, installation, commissioning and continued support.

  • They also provide expert advice on climate control and air processing.

2797 - Contracts Engineer - Air Conditioning – Hertfordshire - c£30-35k + company car, pension, life insurance and team bonus scheme.

  • UK leaders in the Close Control AC market who also have a significant market share in the Comfort AC markets with some HVAC works associated too. They will soon be bringing AHU sales into their portfolio as well. All of which requires additional experienced HVAC contract (project) engineers to work in Greater London and Home Counties to manage the installations and also the larger ‘supply only’ contracts.

  • The applicant will be responsible for taking a project from order stage, with values ranging from just a few thousand pounds, through to £1m, from their sales team and managing the project thereafter, including matters such as H&S, risk assessments, method statements, procurement, programming and full financial control of the contract.

  • Their contract engineers are expected to manage just one or two larger more complicated jobs, or up to around 12 smaller projects at any one time. We are looking to recruit stable; time served engineers, with a broad knowledge of HVAC, more specific knowledge of Air Conditioning would be an advantage. 2798 - Air Conditioning Commissioning Engineers – London and South East - c£30-40k + benefits

  • Building Services Commissioning Engineers ~ London and South East As the market Leaders in Close Control Air Conditioning sales in the UK, our client has a constant demand to commission their units once installed, the majority of this work is in Greater London and the South East, although some travelling further afield may occasionally be required.

  • This is an opportunity for a suitably experienced and time served air conditioning or chiller engineers, to work directly for a manufacturer and become a commissioning specialist. The applicant should have a thorough knowledge and understanding of both DX and chilled water applications in respect of CCAC systems.

  • The successful applicant will also have a good knowledge of BMS systems and controls but only needed in relation to their equipment. Applicants will have a safety passport and will have suitable refrigerant safe handling certification. They further provide regular in house product training. 2820 – Mechanical (HVAC) Building Services Project Engineer – London/Reading/Croydon - c£38-45k + benefits

JOB SUMMARY To provide an effective project engineering service from the bid stage to site commencement and practical completion of all contracts, ensuring that company practices and standards are maintained.

  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Create and maintain effective individual & team working relationships to achieve both company and individual goals and objectives. Plan working methods and set individual member objectives, appraising and offering constructive feedback as required. Contribute to the compilation of the project estimate by preparing estimate documentation for Project Management/Operations Director's/Manager's agreement in order to achieve a balance between price & quality which satisfies both the client's and the commercial requirements of the project. Using the estimating computer system, prepare day work rates, schedule of rates and Bill of Quantities. In conjunction with the Business Development Manager, identify and understand where the customer base is derived from. Process documentation for enquiries, and attend meetings as appropriate, from receipt to tender stage. Set up sites from commencement to practical completion of projects to include: establishing site office & accommodation/staffing requirements/security/documentation. on-site quality auditing & preparing quality plans. building relationships with main contractor, client & other parties. monitoring & maintaining site HSE requirements. understanding & reporting on production/cost and planning procedures. understanding and control of contract finances (with Project Management). progressing variations & site instructions to a satisfactory conclusion. establishing an effective material stock control & storage system. understanding the requirements & actions to be taken to test & commission a project. post contract completion i.e. clearing site/archiving/financial & practical review/installed drawings & manuals/secure disposal of confidential information & systems. Maintaining company confidential information and protecting the company against dubious or fraudulent commercial practices.

  • QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Served a recognised apprenticeship with the relevant experience within the private industrial sector Ideally educated to degree standard in a related subject, but with a minimum qualification of ONC (or equivalent) Ability to influence at all levels Able to provide practical advice and solutions to problems Current driving license Experience of using estimating computer system HSE Financial control Resource management Planning Quality control Supplier and subcontractor management Ability to work effectively with others Ability to take personal responsibility and organise self Experience of dealing with customers

2776 - H.V.A.C. Control Systems Project Engineer - Sussex/London - c£35-45k + benefits

  • Our client is recognised as a leader in the design, supply, installation and maintenance of automatic controls and control panels for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning services within buildings. Proven expertise provides energy efficient comfort control for HVAC projects, building safety, security and lighting control, coupled with full supervisory building management systems.

  • Job Description You should should have a proven track record for contracting H.V.A.C. controls projects up to £750,000.00. You should have experience in both conventional and DDC control systems together with a good knowledge of electrical motor control panels. Knowledge of Trend control systems is essential and experience with Cylon would be an advantage.

  • Computer literacy is essential and you should be capable of writing software strategies for one of the above systems and have a full understanding of the theory of automatic controls associated with the heating, ventilating and air conditioning industries. You should be capable of negotiating with clients and consultants and undertaking supervision of site meetings etc. A good electrical background, including the capability to design electrical control panels including motor starter circuits and safety interlocks, would be an added advantage. Drawings are to be prepared using a CAD design system. You must be capable of working under pressure and controlling project finances. The place of work will be East Sussex, where a No Smoking policy exists or the project job site. The company generally operates within Greater London and South East England, but has work throughout the UK.

2777 - H.V.A.C. Controls Commissioning/Service Engineer - Sussex/London - c£40-50k + benefits

  • Job Description We require an engineer to operate in a mobile capacity generally in London and the South East. The engineer must have the following: A good working knowledge of conventional, electronic, Direct Digital Control (DDC) and Building Management Systems (BMS). A full understanding of HVAC control theory and a proven capability in commissioning HVAC control systems. A sound electrical knowledge and be capable of fault finding and commissioning motor control panels with 400V circuits. An understanding of HVAC plant.

  • Be computer literate, preferably with experience with networks. Knowledge and experience with Trend, Cylon and / or Tridium control systems would be useful, but is not essential. Training would be given to the candidate who possesses strengths in any of the above disciplines. Our client has a strong training policy and will provide continuous career progression through training.
