318117 – Contract Business Manager - Kensington - £22.50 to £27.45ph - Temporary Contract

  • Our client is a local authority looking for a Contract business Manager, the role includes, Co-ordinating the contract programme across business group including forward plan of procurement, allocating specific procurement activities to contract/procurement officers, monitoring the delivery of the programme and take corrective action, signing off all contract documents are fit for purpose and comply with regulations (including obtaining all necessary approvals) and supervising contract/procurement officer on day to day basis.

  • The candidate must be educated to degree level with a technical qualification (for example CIPS or Legal), have a good knowledge of contracts and contracting procedures (including drafting terms and condition, overseeing complex procurements and negotiation with service providers) and knowledge of project management techniques.

  • The candidate should also have a good working knowledge of website management (Internet/Intranet), experience in applying regulations and other corporate policies/procedures to obtain desired outputs and experience in drafting contract conditions and specifications that are appropriate to the service in question.

318107 – Procurement Officer x 2 - Kensington - £20.00 to £24.40ph - Temporary Contract

  • Our client is a local authority they are looking for a procurement officer who will provide technical advice on procurement activity, undertake all technical tasks associated with purchasing services from an external provider, ensure that risks are identified and addressed in the procurement process and to assist the Contract Services Manager to develop procurement strategies and policies.

  • The candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent in an appropriate technical field is essential or a recognised purchasing/legal qualification would be desirable, have a good understanding of public sector procurement including the legislative framework, experience of applying contract regulations and other corporate policies/procedures to obtain desired outputs as well as proven Excellent procurement data analysis skills including use of spreadsheets and databases.

  • They are also looking for a candidate who has a good working knowledge of project management, good understanding of risk management, good understanding of equality, diversity and sustainability issues relating to procurement, establishes good relationships with colleagues and external organisations and who has a good working knowledge of website management (Internet/Intranet).

317963 – Despatch Officer - Wandsworth- £8.30 to £9.76 ph - Temporary Contract

  • Our clients are looking for a Despatch Officer being responsible to the Despatch Service Manager for the prompt, efficient and courteous performance of despatch, security and Members’ support services in educational buildings, libraries and other local authorities.

  • Candidate must have the ability to drive Luton or Transit sized vans, must be at least 21 years of age and have had a clean driving licence for at least 2 years, good communications skills with the ability to deal either face to face or on the telephone with colleagues, visitors, contractors, or suppliers as well as the capacity to repeatedly bend and lift heavy objects. When filled with library books, boxes may weigh up to 20kgs each, and operations may require several such boxes to be lifted and put down each minute. Therefore, adequate strength, stamina and fitness are essential.

  • Experience of similar post room/courier/messenger/security duties is essential in this role and previous experience in the Responsibility for the collection and delivery of internal and external mail and other items (including parcels, packages, library books, and learning resources materials, etc.) to and from establishments is desirable

1776A – Contracts Administrator - Facilities - Wallington- £18 to £20,000 - Permanent Position

  • Building Services/ Facilities Management Company are recruiting for a Contracts Administrator with a couple of years experience within the Building Services or FM Industry. You will be responsible for supporting a key Contract they have been awarded. The contract has a comprehensive range of SLA’s, that as a company there performance will be reviewed against.

  • The successful candidate will be pivotal in taking ownership for the daily administration of paperwork and processes associated to this contract. Communication with various internal and external personal. A full JD is available at request.

  • You must have the following experience and skills to be considered:- Proven experience and understanding of operating a Service/FM Software Package, If possible Planet FM or Tesseract.- IT literate in all Microsoft packages especially Word and Excel - in order to produce detailed Excel and Word reports- Ability to work overtime if required

OSP1775 – Customer Service Agent - Wandsworth- £17,000 - Permanent Position

  • You will be working as a Customer Service Agent for an organisation that offer, premium rate market high quality psychic, chat & date products. This organisation monitor all these services to ensure they are operating to strict industry laws. This position is 24/7, the shift patterns are; 7.30am-3pm/3pm-11pm/11pm-7.30am. You will be the first point of call for our customer query lines, working as part of a team and provide excellent service to internal/external customers.

  • Responsibilities; Opening credit card accounts for customers on our Psychic services.Writing end of shift reports, creating and updating documents. Checking box messages that are recorded by our chat line customers for inappropriate content. Checking the police folder for illegal content. Listening to the content from the Adult Voice Chat and Mantalk Eavesdrop services. Making sure that the Service Fault Database is filled in. Cover main reception desk where required. Conducting customer surveys when required.

  • Requirements: Able to deliver excellent customer service to our customers and enjoy dealing with people. Be able to gain an exceptional knowledge of our products and services. Have a problem solving attitude, being able to deal with all types of queries, complaints & problems. Holidays 25 days per annum. Benefits include critical life cover. Police checks will be required as you will be working with customer credit card details.

OSPT1777 – Accountant - Part Time - 21 to 28 hours - Wimbledon - £10 - £15 ph - Part Time Position

  • Ideally ACA qualified or similar. You will be responsible for; Book-Keeping, payroll, month end accounts, bought ledger, credit control, posting invoices, advising on payments due etc..

  • You will be working for a small, friendly organisation, there is free parking available but they are based within easy walking distance of South Wimbledon Tube station, the tram, various buses for non drivers.

OST1776 – Temporary Payroller/Bought Ledger - Wimbledon - £9 - £12 ph - Temporary Contract

  • Experienced Payroll Temp required to calculate the PAYE payroll which is due on the 25th September

  • Position to start 22/23rd September for 1 week possibly longer.

  • You will be using Sage Line 100 and must have this experience. You will also required to post invoices and advise on payments due.

  • Our client is a Property Investment Developer looking for a shorthand PA Secretary to their chairman. You will extensively cover a wide range of personal matters and be involved in some business matters; Daily dictation and typing of both business and personal correspondence, checking emails and sending emails, organise, attend and take minutes at meetings. Handle business and personal calls. Book travel and holidays, book appointments, organise dry cleaning and shopping etc.

  • You will have fast, accurate shorthand skills, be excellent with MS Outlook, have some Excel skills as you may be required to do a small amount of spreadsheet work, be able to handle a variety of tasks, be flexible to the wide variety of duties you will be asked to cover, have a good sense of humour, be confident and energetic.

1905 – Principal Commercial Officer - Stevenage – £Excellent Package - Permanent Position

  • Our client are looking for a Principal Commercial Officer to lead and provide commercial support in the preparation of bids, agreements contracts based on Company standards in line with the overall EU vet approvals and where specified, business strategy. Undertaking commercial activities in line with company policy and procedures. This is an MOD position and candidates must have a British passport and 5 years checkable residency in the UK

  • The role will include the preparation of quotations and commercial proposals for bids submitted by the Business Unit, including preparation of Terms and Conditions and/or review of customers' contract conditions,liaising with departments including Marketing/Engineering/Finance/Treasury/Legal and, where necessary other Company's business directorates, to ensure consistency of the Commercial Proposal with the overall bid, and the relevant Business approvals. Candidate must have the ability to sign CNs/contracts/subcontracts/Purchase Orders to the value of £50K under normal contract approval process as well co-ordinate where appropriate subcontractor selection process and evaluate.

  • You must have Experience with Bill of Material (BoM) management, Implemented an MRP system (preferably SAP), Manufacturing systems degree or other relevant qualification and must show knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, materials management and comprehensive knowledge of using a stock management tool.

  • Our client is a South London Local Authority who are currently seeking an assistant complaints officer for a temporary contract through to November To proactively provide administrative assistance to the Complaints Team which significantly contributes to the efficient and effective implementation of the council’s complaints process As a member of the complaints team, to take individual and collective professional responsibility for championing the council's diversity agenda and proactively implementing initiatives which secure equality of access and outcomes. Also to commit to continually developing personal understanding of diversity. To provide effective administrative support, prioritising competing pressures, including the liaison and coordination of the information with service users, Members of the Council, MP’s, Government Departments, external agencies and staff of all levels.

  • Production of basic statistics and reports capable of forming a basis of performance measurement and quality control if required. Electronic filing systems Corporate complaints system Answer enquiries, compose letters and memoranda as necessary and organise own work programme.
