FM1545 - Facilities/ Construction Site Manager -£32 to £35k - Manchester

Our client is a major blue chip construction and services company operating throughout the UK and International markets
They are urgently seeking a Site manager with Construction and Facilities background
This role requires candidates to be able to site manage porjects that are both FM and smaller construction based.
They will be managing live office/retail extensions, fit-outs and up grades.
Candidates must have experience in running sites in live working enviroments.
Support and effectively deputise for the Contract Director in all areas of the contract FM performance.
Specifically identify, develop and deliver profitable areas of Facilities Management Service within the overall business model.
Implement solutions with support team and clients adopting full responsibility and ownership for successful commission management.

Candidates must have experience in running sites in live working enviroments.

Management of large (in excess of £10m per annum) multi-location property portfolio for major blue chip clients. This experience to include both the front -end business development skills and operational rollout of an innovative adding-value outsourcing solution.
Excellent customer focus and well-rounded motivation and team building skills with a track record of providing teams offering comprehensive FM and Project work.
Track record of producing, presenting and managing the implementation of innovative business solutions.
Experience of recognising and resolving conflict and difficult situations, which require diplomacy and negotiation to ensure both customer and team, operate towards a common goal.
Experience in Multi Site Contract management.
FM1432 - Site Manager South East (Home Based) - £24 to 30k – Crawley

Overall Purpose:
To take responsibility for sites under the companies control and to liaise with the Project Managers, client site management teams and erectors to ensure all projects are completed efficiently and to programme.

Key Activities
• Attend pre-order meetings with Sales and Client as required
• Attend Project Team meetings
• Advise Project Manager of design/construction issues and communicate with the client to determine the site start date and route of build, phasing etc.
• Quality inspection of the Timber Frame Structure
• Hand over sheet to client as the formal completion of our works
• Resolve erector/Client disputes
• Consider and propose solutions to construction problems/issues
• Issue Site Instructions for any works that fall outside the erectors scope of works
• Where appropriate obtain Site Instructions from the client
• Weekly progress reports to the Project Manager
• Advise Project Manager on shortage, indicating reason
• Advise scheduling department on material shortages immediately indicating reason
• Inform the Project Manager of any potential budget/financial issues
• Maintain daily Site Progress Report, which includes build status, labour levels, site/delivery delays and weather conditions (if affecting the Programme)
• Confirm any Programme changes immediately to the Project Manager.
• Advise Project Manager of any access/delivery restrictions and confirm the Site details/restrictions

Experience:
Carpentry trade background, Communication Skills, Site Management Experience.
Timber Frame Experience.
