1911 - Operations Manager - Roofing - Roof Gardens - £24 - £30,000 - Waterlooville - Permanent Position

• The client has started a Green roofing division, which is an increasing market in the UK and the need an Operations Manager to run this specialist division. This is a new venture which is a divison of the Group - Green roofing; roof gardens, the installation of plants and grass etc on roofs. This area of the business is growing rapidly and our client has seen the need for a Manager to head the division. You will need to have to be a bit of a horticulturalist background and/or appreciation/desire to work with plants because you will need to be able to assist customers with their choices for installation. Full training will be provided however the basic understanding/interest is a must.

• The role is very hands on as you will be fully involved in the installation. This involves going out on site, ensuring the garden is planted correctly to maximise survival and the overal look. You will then be required to revisit following installation to ensure the plants have bedded in etc. The customer will then enter a maintenance contract and it will be your responsibility to ensure the customer pays for this and that it is then managed effectively. This role is a stand alone role reporting to the Director however you will be responsible for managing up to 3 installation teams depending on projects that are taking place.

• You will be required to learn all the horticultural aspects relating to Living Green Roofs, provide clients with quotations, manage the whole installation process, general administration, generate external sales, manage the labour on supply and fit projects and in addition be prepared to assist hands on with the manual installations of green roofs (in association with the main teams) to make sure the soil depths are correct, planting is correct etc. This applicant must be computer literate, self motivated, energetic, hard working and looking for a challenge in a very prominent market with excellent career opportunities.

SIQSC - 1 Senior & 1 Intermediate Quantity Surveyors (Civils) - £45,000 - £55,000 – Central London and Home Counties - Permanent Position

• Our client is a Consultancy specialising in providing QS and Estimating support to contractors and clients within construction and oil and gas industries who are currently seeking a 1 Senior & 1 Intermediate Quantity Surveyors (Civils) for roles in Central London and the Home Counties

• Must have Civils Contractor experience within the areas of Civil Structures, Rail, Utilities, Highways or Marine Works

• Knowledge of NEC Contract essential.

CIVEST - Senior Estimator (Civils, Utilities and Groundworks) - c£75,000 – New Offices, London W1 - Permanent Position

• Our client is a Consultancy specialising in providing QS and Estimating support to contractors and clients within construction and oil and gas industries who are currently seeking a Senior Estimator (Civils, Utilities and Groundworks)

• MUST have experience of Civils Estimating, Utilities, Groundworks or Piling. A decent understanding of NEC Contracts, Designing, Estimating and implementing works from inception to submission of final accounts, working closely with / alongside the Team of contractors QS’s

• MUST come from a Main Contractor background, (Laing O’Rouke, Balfour Beatty, Morrisons etc)

EST - Estimator (New Build & Refurb Commercial Projects). - £Negotiable – Pinner, Middlesex - Permanent Position

• Our client is a Consultancy specialising in providing QS and Estimating support to contractors and clients within construction and oil and gas industries who are currently seeking an Estimator (New Build & Refurb Commercial Projects) to work in Pinner, Middlesex. Will consider both experienced and more junior estimators who show potential and have a few years new build experience. The Client would not object to a junior estimator having a 1 day per week study release.

• MUST be able to price both refurbishment and new build Commercial projects up to a value of £8 million

• MUST come from a Main Contractor background, (Mansells, Willmott Dixon, Kier etc.)

SEST - Senior Estimator (New Build, Refurbishment and Social Housing) - c£75,000 – Dorking, Surrey"darkpurple"Permanent Position

• Our client is a Consultancy specialising in providing QS and Estimating support to contractors and clients within construction and oil and gas industries who are currently seeking a Senior Estimator to be based in new offices near Dorking, Surrey

• MUST have experience of New Build and D & B Projects – ideally in the Social Housing arena but not essential.

• MUST come from a Main Contractor background, (Mansells, Willmott Dixon, Kier etc.)
