Our client, a leading International Construction and Engineering Consultancy has a Waste Team which has 5 'themes' one of which is waste engineering - this area needs a dedicated UK team leader to co-ordinate activities, drive business development and oversee assignment.
Appointment of consultant with well established track record in the design and delivery of waste infrastructure projects.
Able to liaise with and influcence senior figures in engineering and private waste sector companies, support UK Waste Team in gaining new commisions for the Waste Team nationally
Must have ability to work across a 'virtual team'

Co-ordinate and develop the waste engineering team (includes landfill, treatment and all engineering issues) into a fully functioning UK business stream (and Middle East potentially)
Marketing and business development activity in a local and regional context wiath targeted results based on their existing Local Authority network and contacts.
To assist in bidding, marketing and projects in relation to all waste service delivery plans.
To support existing projects and client sectors in order to provide additional revenues and build the reputation of the company in the South West.
To grow a waste engineering team in Bristol in the next 12 months.

FM1628 - Waste Planning Consultant - £30,000 to £35,000 – Bristol

Our client, a leading International Construction and Engineering Consultancy are looking for a consultant to carry out Waste Planning advisory work for LA clients - Waste Plan Development & Consultation
Prepare planning applications for WM facilities. Assist in site design
Advise clients on implications of Planning permissions and assist in compliance

Assist in preparation of PPC and WM license applications, exemptions and appeals
Advise clients on planning implications of proposed developments and procurement schemes (eg PFI)
Assist in preparation of EIA for planning applications
Site audits and surveys to identify planning issues/general waste management issues
Bidding and Marketing.
Project Management
Waste Planning Consultant specialising in minerals and waste planning issues. Town and contry waste planning beneficial. Knowledge of PPC and WM Licensing beneficial.

Able to liaise with and influence senior figures in a range of sectors (including developers, NHS, facilities managers etc.
Support UK Waste Team in gaining new commissions for the waste team nationallly

Our clients waste management team is one of the fastest growing in the sector - they now have teams across four UK locations and a wealth of support in place in the wider business. To continue their rapid growth and build on our considerable success, we now have a vacancy for a senior waste consultant with a strong track record in the Midlands Local Authority arena. The role encompasses support to existing procurement and communications plans for the waste team (the ideal candidate will have key experience in at least one of these areas) and an ability to maximise their established network in a local and regional context.

To work as part of a dedicated team servicing a major D&B Contractor on DCWW's AMP4 Water Quality AMP4 Investment Programme. You will carry out feasibility, outline and detailed design on sewerage infrastructure improvements including pumping stations, combined sewer overflows, stormwater storage tanks and networks.
The position is based in Port Talbot within a co-located alliance office. The team is engaged in a five year investment plan of environmental improvemnts to waste water netwokrs and treatment works.
